Fees:

Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions are charged at £55 for a 50 minute session.

Counselling sessions for children under the age of 10 are charged at £35 for a 30 minute session.

Hypnotherapy sessions for both adults and children are charged at £65 for a session of up to 50 minutes.

One off quit smoking Hypnotherapy sessions are charged at £150 for a 90-120 minute session.


Payments should be made by bank transfer at least 24 hours before each session, in order to confirm your appointment.

I am a member of the National Counselling Society.


3. Use of the Site


You have permission for temporary use of the site, but i can withdraw or change my service at any time without telling you and without being legally responsible to you.


You must treat all identification codes, passwords and other security information as confidential. If I think you have failed to keep confidentiality, I am allowed to disable any security information (including your passwords and codes).


In using this Website, you agree to follow the separate cookies policy and privacy policy on this website. I follow the privacy policy in handling information about you.

Only use the site as allowed by law and these terms. If you don’t, I may suspend your usage, or stop it completely.


I frequently update the site and make changes to it, but I don’t have to do this, and material on the site may be out-of-date. No material on the site is intended to contain advice, and you shouldn’t rely on it. I exclude all legal responsibility and costs for reliance placed on the site by anyone.

If you do anything which is a criminal offence under a law called the Computer Misuse Act 1990, your right to use this site will end straightaway. I will report you to the relevant authorities and give them your identity.


Examples of computer misuse include introducing viruses, worms, Trojans and other technologically harmful or damaging material.


You mustn’t try to get access to my site or server or any connected database or make any ‘attack’ on the site. I won’t be legally responsible to you for any damage from viruses or other harmful material that you pick up via my site.

Any dispute shall not affect the parties’ ongoing obligations under these terms.


The English courts have the only right to hear claims related to my site (and any non-contractual matters arising from these terms), and all disputes are governed by English law.

I respect your right to privacy and will only process personal information about you or provided by you in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation which, for the purposes of this Privacy Policy shall mean:

(ii) the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation, as amended or updated from time to time, in the UK and then

(iii) any successor legislation to the UK GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable privacy laws.

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).


I may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which has been grouped together as follows:

  • Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier. When you email, phone, live chat or otherwise, I may collect information such as your first name, last name, email address and phone number.

  • Next of kin contact data includes person address and telephone numbers.
  • Financial Data includes any information collected during the processing of payments.

I do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do I collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. 


Under UK GDPR I will ensure that your personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, without adversely affecting your rights. I will only process your personal data if at least one of the following bases applies:

a) You have given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes;

b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at the request of you prior to entering into a contract;

c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject;

4. How I may collect and use your data


I (or third party data processors, agents and sub-contractors acting on my behalf) may collect, store and use your personal information by way of different methods to collect data from and about you including through direct interactions. You may give me your information by filling in forms via this Website or by corresponding with me by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you use the Service offered by this website.


In addition to the above, I may use the information in the following ways:

a) Present Website content effectively to you.

b) Provide information, and services that you request, or (with your consent) which I think may interest you.

c) Carry out my contract with you.

d) Provide the relevant Services to you

e) Tell you my charges.


I will only contact you electronically while you remain my client or potential client.


Records may be held of those links which are used the most to provide the most helpful information but such information will be kept confidential and you will not be identified from this information.

However, you acknowledge this will limit my ability to provide the best possible services to you.


In some cases, the collection of personal data may be a statutory or contractual requirement, and I will be limited in the services In provide you if you don’t provide your personal data in these cases.


I will only use your personal data when the law allows me to. Most commonly, I will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

a) In order to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

b) Where it is necessary for legitimate business interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

c) Where I need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, for example compliance with health and safety, tax or other statutory obligations.


Generally I do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data.


5. Where I store your data and security


It may occasionally be necessary to transfer some of your collected data to storage outside the UK. In the unlikely event that this happens, it may be processed outside the UK to fulfil your order and to receive Services and deal with payment. If data is stored or transferred outside the UK, all reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the UK GDPR. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy shall be your consent to the storage or transfer of data outside the UK only if it is necessary to do so.


Data security is of great importance to me, and to protect your data I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through this Website. In addition, access to your personal data is limited to those third parties who have a need to know. They will only process your personal data on my instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.


I have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where I am legally required to do so.


By giving me your personal data, you agree to this arrangement. I will do what I reasonably can to keep your data secure.


I have implemented security measures such as password protection to protect any data and maintain a high level of security.


Notwithstanding the security measures that are taken, it is important to remember that the transmission of data via the internet may not be completely secure and that you are advised to take suitable precautions when transmitting data via the internet and you take the risk that any sending of that data may not be secure despite the efforts taken.


Personal data will be kept for as long as is necessary which is usually the life of our relationship and up to a period of six years after our relationship have ended. I may however be required to retain personal data for a longer period of time to ensure I comply with our legislative and regulatory requirements. Data retention obligations are reviewed to ensure that data is not retained for longer than legally required.


6. Disclosing your information


I will not disclose your information except in the following circumstances:

  • Any legal requirement to disclose information to the police or under a UK Court Order
  • As required to by any referral service involved in your care
  • If I have a legal obligation to do so, or in order to protect other people’s property, safety or rights.
  • If a safeguarding issue becomes apparent during our relationship.
  • In the event of my death or incapacitation through illness, a nominated person will receive the name and contact details of my current clients. The nominated person will contact my clients to inform them of my situation.. They will be required to access some or all of your data.


Where any of your data is required for such a purpose, I will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, my obligations, and the obligations of the third party under UK GDPR and the law. Any third party that I share data with will not be permitted to use it for any other purpose than fulfilling their contract.


7. Your rights


I aim to give you strong controls over my use of your data.


Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.
  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.
  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Social Media Statement


I engage with social media privately and professionally. There is a chance if you use social media yourself you may see some of my online activity.


You can choose to view my posts without liking or commenting and that way no-one, including myself, will know you have seen my post. You should bear in mind that, if you like or comment on my posts, these can be seen by anyone who visits my page. 


I have colleagues, family and friends who follow me on social media. I will never identify you as a client.


I will reply to messages or comments on my posts but I will not engage in counselling via social media. In this instance I will normally invite you to contact me directly.


I won’t accept Friends requests from clients to my personal social media accounts as this may blur the boundaries of our professional relationship.
